PDF CamScanner ("we", "the site") provides a browser-based tool for turning photos into PDFs. This policy explains what happens to your files and what limited data the site itself generates.

Your photos and PDFs

Cropping, filtering, and PDF assembly all run inside your browser using JavaScript and the HTML5 canvas. Your images are not uploaded to our servers or any third party as part of using the scanner — we have no storage system for them and never see them. Closing or refreshing the tab clears everything; nothing is saved unless you click "Download PDF" to save the file to your own device.

Information we don't collect

• We don't require an account, email address, or sign-in to use the scanner.
• We don't store copies of the photos or PDFs you create.
• We don't sell or share personal data, because we don't collect any through the scanning tool itself.

Third-party resources this page loads

To render and run the page, your browser makes a small number of requests to services we don't control, each of which may log standard web request data (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy:

• Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used across the site.
• cdnjs (Cloudflare) — loads the open-source jsPDF library used to assemble your PDF locally in your browser.

Neither of these services receives your photos or the documents you create; they only serve static files (fonts and script code) to your browser.

Cookies and analytics

The scanner itself does not set cookies or run analytics scripts. If that changes in a future version of the site — for example, to add basic visit analytics — this policy will be updated first to describe what's collected and why.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them, consistent with the fact that it collects no personal information from any user in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
